I own a 1991 Camaro RS with a 305 TBI. When I bought the car its need alot of TLC. I've changed the Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, TBI unit gasket set, 8.5mm Spark Plug Wires, and Oil change. The car ran for about an hour when i changed the fuel pump and filter. Then it broke down.( had to get towed 4 miles back to garage ). now the car wont stay running. It starts right up and stay started for about 30 sec. then starts to bog down and then accelerate back and forth, till it stalls out. When I bought the car the only way the fan would turn on would be to but the air on. (air didnt work jus turned fan on). so i guessing a switch has gone bad and is causing the computer to make the car stall.

Any Suggestions of what it might be would be great

 

TBI cars have no interaction between fan and ECM, so the fan not working isn't the cause of the stalling (unless it's overheating that badly).

Have you pulled codes from the ECM?
Is the fuel pump running after the car starts?

 

ok update. i had a mechanic come up and stay for the week to get the car running. and were still having issues. i changed the distributer, coil, ignition module, most of the sensors. then we checked the codes it thru Code 42.So i changed the ecm and no codes are being thrown. the car starts, but will not hold a idle. not sure what it can be. im getting fuel delivery. even if i pour gas into the TB it still wont hold a idle for more than a couples secs. check the fuel pump relay as well and replaced. i'm not sure what it can be.

 

and the fan switch was replaced and now the fan works and i'm installing a water guage that was ran into the engine bay but never hooked up.
