15th aniv. l69 sitting a long time. What to replace?

I have a 305 l69 engine that has been sitting for about 5 years that needs a little bit of attention. The engine runs alright but I want it to run better! sometimes when trying to start the car fuel will spit out of the carb...I am guessing this just means it needs a carb rebuild. what are some things that I should replace just because it has been sitting for a while? I am going to do a full tune up, oil change etc. going to give this car to my sister so anything that could go out needs to be addressed! thanks peeps.

fuel filter, plugs, have the plug wires checked, rebuild kits for the CCC carbs are about 20 bucks if all that is needed is gaskets. when you change the oil dont forget to add zddp additive. also after that long of a sitting check all your vacuum hoses as they will most likely have dryed out and cracked

OK I will replace all of those things and I will check the vacuum lines.
Thanks for the help!
