I got my 89 trans am last summer. i drove it for about a month before winter. if i did it right i could chirp second gear every time. This year i did a few mods to the car and now i cant chirp second. i am convinced my car is faster, but i liked when it chirped second. What mod would cause this?>

Took out airbox and made a cold air intake.
changed the fuel filter.
changed plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.
removed screens on MAF sensor.

do i need to get it tuned? let me know im kinda stumped.
oh and a little after that i had to replace my tranny mount. not sure if that is why i was chirping either. same tires, everything else was the same. any idea will help, thanks
