Hello, members. I have been having trouble with my 1988 Camaro Stock 305 TBI since I got it last year. It seems to be with the Idle. When I first start the car cold the RPM meter surges up and down and eventually dies unless I give it gas. It also takes 2 trys to start it cold or 1 try while pumping the gas, I don't know if that has any relavence to the rough Idle. After the car warms up it runs fine. It does not bog when I accelerate at all. Also the A/C sometimes causes it to stall when its not warmed up. We changed the Throttle position sensor and that appeared to help, but then it went back to the way it was before. Changed the oxygen sensor aswell, helped at first but then it still idled rough. Im only 17 so help me out please im a noob. Thanks in advance

It could be your IAC (Idle Air Control)

 

Im going to check the Vaccum lines this weekend, alot of people on other sites seem to think thats the problem. from watching that video
