Car keeps running after I shut the key off

I don't know if its the ignition switch going bad, or maybe its dieseling? (I don't think the motor is warm enough for that, though, only 160ish) or if my electric fans may be causing it because of the way i have them wired...I have them wire through a switch, and then into the fuse block on one of the ignition circuits, if you have the fans on and shut off the car it keeps running because of the fans acting as generators and still providing 12V but when I have the switch off it never does that, at least not till lately.

Any ways to check it?

Get rid of the fan rigging and see what happens. Fans shouldn't be rigged that way anyway. Why aren't they setup like they should be, with a fan controller (either factory fan switch and relay or aftermarket controller)? I just don't understand why every 3rd gen owner wants to rig fans to always on

Can't afford a fan controller with a part time job when I have college and family and a house to care for. I was planning on getting for it when I could, but I can't. Thats why.

And it "rigged" to always run. It goes from an ignition source in my fuse block, to a toggle switch, and then to my fans, so I can turn it off whenever I want.
