fuel filter wont stop leaking

Car: '86 Iroc-Z, '98 A4 Quattro
Engine: 5.0 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
fuel filter wont stop leaking

Trying to change my fuel filter but it wont stop leaking. already caught about 12oz of fuel. is there something i dont know?

As i recall thoes fuel filters have that strange flare (the technical name eludes me at the moment) with the o ring on them correct? Make sure the o ring is in good shape or if in doubt just replace them.

oring will do it every time

Did you relieve the pressure at the Schraeder valve? You have to relieve the pressure or the tank will just drain alot.
