Axle/Gears: Probably the stock 3.42
305 chevy mildly modded spark plug gap??
what would be a good place to set my gap for a vortec 305 with a 65k volt ignition, a summit 1103 cam, headers and a holley 4160?

stock spec for the vortec or stock spec for the original l69? because i think the gap for the vortec is .06", and the l69 is around .04"?

Split the difference? lol... in reality, it won't make any noticeable difference if you go .040, .050, or .060.... though a smaller gap will improve life expectancy of various ignition components.

I am at 0.40 gap in my 305 with a red cam (1103)from chevy an a 55 throttle body mathced 24 pound injectors ,,,, an i get 19 mph highway..... 12 .31 in a 1/4 mile going to a 75 throttle body i shoud get low 12's in a 1/4 mile....
