Ebay power steering bracket problem and help!!
Hi
I have a TBI motor with one serpentine belt which I am converting to carb and I want to know If this PS bracket sold on ebay , can be used on a LWP or else electric water pump
I need pics of it mounted on an engine because I cannot figure out how it works and want to be sure before I buy it and ship it to my country!
here is the pic:

It does not work - you (like me) wasted $40 on it.
I spent days trying to get this to work and it simply does not.
Spend the $105+shipping and get the March bracket - well worth it!
Now - I'm assuming you are getting rid of the serpetine system right? I mean you can't use that bracket or any that looks like it and keep the serp system. I'm assuming you are getting rid of A/C and the smog pump correct?
So - you are going to need a new water pump, and a new alternator!
Water pump - your serp sys water pump is a reverse rotation, since you are not using the serpentine brackets anymore, you'll need a standard rotation water pump.
Alternator - your serp system alternator has mounting holes at 12oclock and 4 oclock - ALL of the aftermarket alternator brackets use an alternator with 12oclock and 6 oclock mounting holes.

Re: Ebay power steering bracket problem and help!!
Hi thanks for the interest!
I am going to remain with serpentine and with same alternator with 12 and 4 a clock and already found a way to mount in o the engine, electric water pump and original crank pulley! and will also use and idler pully to set the belt!
I want to remain with only 1 belt and use a smaller and neat aluminium bracket for the power steering
here is a sketch of how I am gonna work it
