Electric pumps push better than they pull. You can mount it under the car on the driver's side over the diff where the fuel lines are.

The blue pump needs the regulator which can be mounted anywhere under the hood but it doesn't need a return line. The blue pump will run fine with a deadhead regulator.

Don't use a dead head regulator, make sure you use a return style. With the return, your fuel pump will run quieter and cooler than it would otherwise. I run a Holly Black Pump.

I put mine directly under the fuel line. The 3/8 fuel line is the feed line. The 5/16th is the return line. Make sure you hook them up right. ) I ran one rubber line from the line from the tank to the fuel pump "in" side, then the out of the fuel pump to the 3/8 line that goes to the engine bay. I then put the regulator in the engine bay. The return of course goes to the return. Once you get the fuel pump in, make sure you use one of the painless relay kits just in case you get a voltage spike so you won't fry your fuel pump. I've got mine hooked up so when I turn the ignition "on" the pump comes on. This helps prime the system. Hope this helps!
