89 Camaro Iroc-Z L98 missed badly now won't start at all

Hi,
I'm new to this forum and it looks like this will be the best place to find some suggestions.
I have an '89 Camaro Iroc-Z with a L98 TPI Motor. I've done quite a bit of work to the motor (ported and polished heads, aggresive cam, new top end and bottom end, complete rebuild, 10 to 1 compression, headers, oversized runners, new distributor, new coil, plugs, wires, etc... ). I haven't driven it much and ran it last year and every time I would drive it there would be a miss that eventually got worse and worse to the point where it won't even start now.
The new engine has approximately 1,000 miles on it and when I pulled the valve covers off I noticed one of the rocker arm studs had pushed out and the rocker arm was WAY loose. Realized I should have put threaded rocker arm studs in when I had the motor built. But I was wondering if this would result in a motor running that bad to the point where it wouldn't start, or if I have other issues.
I still have the original fuel injectors, fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator, could any of these be more of the problem?
Thanks for any help you can give me
