I was driving to school yesterday and out of no where my car turned off in the middle of the freeway. I went to neutral to get out on the next exit. I tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't start. It is not the battery because there is still charge in it and it doesn't make the little sound as if it was dead. Please help it is my daily driver. Thanks in advance.

 

start by making sure the car is getting fuel if needs be spray a small amount of starting fluid down the intake and see if the car starts. If it dosent then move on to checking for spark take a timing light and check it if you dont have one take the plug out of any cylinder and put the wire back on have someone crank the engine and check for spark it there is no spark test the coil and the mod. in the dis. hope this helps out a little.

dont forget that you got to ground the plug out on metal in order for it to spark

 

Does the engine crank?

When you turn the key to the "on" position do you hear the fuel pump engage?
