Desktop Dyno Help needed?
Folks,
I'm building a 383 from my L-98 short block(2 bolt main) with less than 20,000 miles on it.
Going to use Bow Tie vortec iron heads, small port big valves(251cfm @ .5"),
10:1 CR, 3.75" stroke w/ 6" rods, long tube headers, with 2.5" true duals.
The cam will be a Lunati roller, 60110, with 262/270 adv duration, 211/219 @ .50 w/ .540"/.555" lift w/ 1.6 roller tip rockers.
Does anyone have a Desktop Dyno or similar program that can tell me what the HP & Torque ought to be for this combo? I haven't decided on the fuel injection system yet and kind of wanted to see what the HP would be and projected flow requirements for an injection system.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Desktop Dyno Help needed?
10:1 compression + iron heads + relatively small camshaft = possible detonation.
For the Desktop Dyno guys is that 1 3/4" headers?

Re: Desktop Dyno Help needed?
The headers are 1 5/8" full length hooker ceramics.
The engine is already running 10:1 CR with a 206/211 cam in the 350 version.
I'm just bumping up the cam to a 211/219 with a little more lift and increasing displacement up to a 383 ci.
Thanks

Re: Desktop Dyno Help needed?
Primary tube size to DD doesn't matter, as far as it's concerned all the common headers are small diameter. You'll need the actual valve timing to model it, not just the durations.
