NEW CAR! first mods?...
hey idk if i'm posting this in the correct category or not, but anyway i just got another Camaro, it's a 1991 RS with the 305 TBI, and was wondering what are the best first mods to do to a car that is fairly stock at the moment? I want to be pushing at least 300hp, don't have to have anything too crazy just yet, but i think 300 is a reasonable goal to attain somewhat soon. what are the first things (also cheapest things) i can do right now for starters?
Here's the specs on the car and what it has done to it so far:
-109,000 miles
-305 TBI motor
-700R4 trans
-Hooker headers and hooker y-pipe
-3 inch Hooker catback system with Hooker aerochamber muffler and dual outs with dual chrome tips
-cat delete
-A.I.R. pump removed and delete pulley installed in it's place
-K&N air filter
yeah that's about it, i know not much, but it's a start. car runs great, shifts smoothly, and starts every time. body could use work, has a couple rust problem areas so we'll have to get that fixed. other than that, pretty straight car considering i only paid $1100
I will post some pics here as soon as someone tells me how to do it. i must be retarded...

rebuild the entire suspension. EVERYTHING! balljoints, tie rods, centerlink, etc. it won't be any faster, but it'll ride and handle like a dream.
If you're on a budget, i'd look into some iroc swaybars, wonderbar, moog iroc springs, and the most expensive set of shocks/struts you can afford.
...back in the day when i bought my 87, it had 180k on the clock and the entire car was basically trashed. so what'd i do? like any intelligent 17 yr old I bought a GMPP 350HO crate engine.
four thousand dollars later, i couldn't stand to drive the thing more than half an hour. it was night and day faster, but it still had 180 thousand miles on it! the steering wheel could be shaken from 3 to 9 o'clock and the front wheels wouldn't turn. go over a bump and the nose would rock up and down for about seven miles on the worn out struts.

damnnnnnnn thanks for the info! definitely gonna take your advice on that haha wise words for sure. yeah i don't NEED to have power right now, i probably should take care of the foundation first, cuz power is useless if it can't be planted to the ground properly...
