Something weird happened during cam swap...

Ok, so I am in the middle of doing a cam swap and when I removed the intake I noticed this..see pic below. Notice the divider between the ports. I find it odd that it only happened on the driver side intake gasket AND it happened to the front and rear port openings. The passenger side gasket is fine. Has anyone experience this before?

Ya, last guy wasn't very careful when he lowered the intake on install.

Actually I have seen that happen on a miniram with a nitrous backfire. Have not had any crazy backfires lately have you?

No crazy backfires. I did have a sudden intake boot collapse at WOT a couple of times before I made my own intake.
