Water Temperature Gauge Not Working

Last night I went and changed the O2 sensor on my car. Now the temperature gauge isn't working. Is there any wires around the O2 sensor that I might have bumped that could cause this?

Re: Water Temperature Gauge Not Working

if you disconnect the connector for the temp sensor there should be 2 pin slots, if you short them out (useing a paper clip, piece of wire, etc) and turn your ignition to the accessory spot, your gauge should peg out to the max. if it doesn't do that, then that means that you have bad wiring or gauge, if it does, you have a bad temp sensor.

The temperature gauge sender is in the driver side head between #1 and #3 cylinders. It's possible you could have disturbed the wiring.

Thank you
