Time to wake Lazarus up from the dead

A little background info:
I bought my 1990 Formula in '94, drove it for a few years, then put it away while I went to college. For the first few years, I would start the 'bird up a few times a year when I went home, drove it around the block, blew the cobwebs out. Then, it quit running, I moved away, and it sat.......and sat, until this weekend. Now that I have the garage space, time, and a little money (emphasis on little), I want to bring it back to life.

I started by rolling it out of the garage, fixing the hatch motor, hatch weather striping, and hatch struts. It then got it's first bath & wax in over 10 years. I'm surprised at how good the paint still is. Other than a little clear coat fade on the roof, front bumper paint cracks/chips, and a few spoiler cracks, it looks pretty good.

The passenger side light wants to pop up, but doesn't. (will address this issue in another thread) It needs some interior work, (carpet, door panel, headliner, etc...)

On to the motor: It wants to fire up, but won't. It just keeps turning. When I put a little gas into the throttle body, it fires right up, but then dies like its not getting any gas from the tank. I had one of the two injectors replaced shortly before I quit driving it. It was originally parked with a full tank plus stabil. I figured the gas is bad, but I siphoned some out, and put it in the lawnmower and it worked fine there.

Here comes the questions:
Do I need to drain the tank? if so, best way?
What else should I check to get her back up and running?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide me.

The first thing I'd check would be your fuel pump and see if you can hear it run for a few seconds when you turn the key on. If its not, that is probably why it won't start.

If the pump does work, I'd take off the fuel filter (and get a new one to replace it later), hook a hose or tube up to the end of the line coming off the tank, unplug the fuel sending unit line and hook a battery or other 12v source up to it to run the fuel pump and let it pump the old gas out of the tank. When its empty, add some new gas and a new fuel filter and see what happens.

Trying to siphon gas out of the filler tube is a real pain in the butt. With all the baffles in the tank its next to impossible to even get a hose all the way down to the bottom.
