emissions equip.
Does anyone know where to find the list of what emissions equip. came standard on our cars in ca. vs. federal?

All a 3rd gen stuff is Federal, not state specific. CA levels of testing are different than other states, but not the equipment.

I wasn't sure. I found a list once, and there were a couple differences, but I can't find it now.

When I lived out there, most of the inspection stations just used a parts store type paper catalog for an emissions eqpt product line. The Borg-Warner one seemed particularly popular. I seem to recall seeing GP Sorensen at one of em as well.
The equipment does sometimes differ; not that I know of on these particular cars, but it does on others.
