what engine is this starter for?

A friend of mine who worked at a GM plant gave this starter to me a few years ago, its new and never been on a car. Its dated 3/29/2000 and has 9000850 stamped on it. Anyone know what engine it fits? And how much its worth? I'm guessing its a LT1 starter maybe?

Looks like my LS1 starter, but I wouldn't swear that's what it's for.
