91 camaro not firing
the car was running and then stopped one day and i did a little research and heard the ignition modules go out all the time so i went ahead and replaced the whole distributor. re timed the car best i could. tdc and everything lined up pretty close. distributer right with the rotor on number one on the cap.. i dont have the viec label or watever it was. i have it at 6degrees right now. so replaced the distributor..car cranks and fires real quick but not enough to start. im not sure why. if it is timing why it sounds like it so far off. ive heard lose timing chain. can it be anything else?

Try a re-do on your timing. Sounds like it may be firing on a few cylinders but not enough to keep running. Crank while adjusting dist position SLIGHTLY in either direction and see if it will catch. Once there, then fine tune timing to 6* and see if it continues to run.

Did you check to make sure it's getting enough fuel?
