Tpi stalls after wot then stalls
Ive been havin a problem with may car stalling due to being rich. Car is off the road and it is about 20 degrees f here. Just replaced maf and hollowd out the converter since it burned up. Engine was rebuilt see my signature below for details. still had ses light intermittant for maf after replacing it but when it was warmer the car didnt stall just seemed to be a little rich.

Re: Tpi stalls after wot then stalls
I also changed my coil with a newer one I had from accel no difference. pulled the plugs after it stalls and they are a little wet with fuel. fuel psi at 39 idling and 47 wot. when it is about to die the engine starts surging, this happens usually when the cooling fans kick on the worst, fuel pressure goes up and down from 39 to 45 trying to stay running which is probally normal since the vacuum is changing. Another thing I tryed to check was the timing but it surges bad when the est is bypassed. barely wants to run at 6 degrees then timing jumps back up to save it.
I am getting a little confused on where to start, I have a newer coolant temp sensor that reads normal (when data logging works) and low temp fan switch, 195 tstat. Ive adjusted the 1.6 rockers with the engine running procedure and it seems to idle and rev nice but after a wot rev it stumbles and dies, I have the stock chip in it now.
