help!! no start!!

i have a 1988 firebird with a 350 tpi. when i bought it it would run but wouldnt start unless you primed it when it was cold. so i did some research and figured it might be the control module under the distributor cap. so i replaced it. now the car wont run at all. not even when primed. it gets fuel and spark. fuel pump is working. has fuel pressure not sure of exact amount. it will skip like its about to start then keep cranking. every now and then i get a huge backfire out of the exhaust. i also tried a different computor out of a friends car that was running still no start. Also tested all the injector wires with a light and all working with key on and while cranking. also has code 45. id like some suggestions so anybody got any ideas??? Thanks

A noid light that flashes with the injector pulse or just a test light to show power at injector?

Re: help!! no start!!

the wireing in the car looks kind of iffy. so this weekend i am going to put a painless harness in and see if that makes a difference.
