MSD pro billet (TPI to Carb)

Ive sold almost all my stuff from my TPI setup and im now going to carb. I was wondering if my MSD pro billet #8366 will work with the carb setup and everything? Thanks guys, link to distributor below

Unless you intend on using the computer for spark control only, that one wont work, as it requires the ECM for control. You need a standard non computer controlled HEI distributer if your ditching the TPI and ECM.

Edit: it looks like you already have the dist. If you do try to run it, the dist. will give very little advance w/o the signal from the ECM, maybe 4 or 5 degrees between idle at 6000 RPM.

Something like that one or whichever you want to ultimately run would be what your looking for. A standard dist. with spring/weights along with a vacuum advance.
