no spark past distributor

i have an 82 camaro with the v6. I moved it less than 2 months ago and now that I'm needing to move it again it wont start. it has spark at the coil to distributor wire. but none past the distributor just replaced the cap and rotor today no change.

You got me. I would have guessed a bad rotor, but since it's all new, I couldn't tell you where your spark is going.

hmm i replied earlier but i guess it didn't save it . i fixed the problem. i don't know how but i did. stuck my hand down around the distributor and wiggled some wires around and it started first crank. my luck my first post is asking for help and my second one is saying i fixed the problem myself 5 minutes later.

Well there is still a problem while it runs it wont idle well and when its under load it will just backfire out of the carb. when i put the new cap on I followed the firing order and wiring picture in the chilton manual. I think somethings wrong either with the timing or the carb . the car ran fine when it was parked about 2 months ago I really dont know whats going on here.
