Engine: 305 cfi
Transmission: 700r4
is a cfi to crb swap a nightmare??
want to swap my cfi to cab,what is needed to change ,is it a wiring nightmare or a fairly easy swap,fuel pump,computer,or can all that be bypassed,any info would be greatly appreciated not tryin to build a hot rod 305 just dont like alot of elctronics,thanks doug

this has been done by quite a few of the members around here (myself included) and you should be able to find answers to all of your questions over here:

most of the wiring can come out, you'll need a new distributor, and you'll have to figure out whether you want to use the stock electric in tank pump or remove it and do a mechanical pump. which trans you have will add to the work, but you should be able to find more details there too
