hyrdraulic cam install with lube

hey guy im just putting an 280H comp cam thats an hydraulic flat tappet style, can i use the thick red oily lube from comp cams instead of molly lube? engine is nearly ready to go but id like to know what is ok and not ! before i wipe a cam all help would be best

Well let's put it this way...

Comp will generally warranty the cam if you use their parts & materials but something goes wrong. (won't warranty the bearings & crank when they get wiped by a cam failure though don't bother asking how I know that) Not sure they will warranty it if you use anything else. Might want to call them and ask them.
