Anyone use the 3/8 vent line for return?

Axle/Gears: 3.43
Anyone use the 3/8 vent line for return?

I want to use the 3/8 vent line on the tank sender as the return, I want to convert it to AN6 using a tube adapter.. anyone done this? any advice?

Good idea, bad idea?

I have a friend that has done it and has had no issues. there is really no pressure on the return so.....

Most vent lines have restrictions and/or baffles in them that make them a bad choice for a return line.
