Car Wont Start

Hey guys, been out all day trying to start the camaro. no go. dumped gas down the carb, its getting spark. put quick start in the carb, doesnt start. its turning over then i guess "jumping" like it wants to turn over and then goes back to just turning over and not the "jumping" like it wants to start. any ideas? im lost, its pretty cold out and my choke light is on, where do i start?

I'ed see if the choke is working. If it's not it is hard to start a carbed engine in cold weather!
