91 rs parts into 89 Iroc?
are the basic parts the same on the 91 rs 305tbi as the 89 Iroc 350tpi?like altnator,air conditioning stuff.tranny?Can u put a tpi setup on a 305 that has a tbi on it without alot of trouble.I see alot of 305 tpi setups forsale on here.

If they both have the same type of trans (T5 or 700-R4), then most of the accessories and the transmissions can be swapped between the cars. The TPI stuff can be put in the TBI car provided you also swap out the wire harness and ECM, fuel pump, fuel lines, accel. cable, and other misc. items that are specific to the TPI setup.

But - TPI heads and TBI heads are different - you won't see any noticeable hp gains by simply putting the TPI system on a TBI 305 motor unless you swap the heads as well. And then, you'll still only get 40hp gain (in a perfect world).
In my book, it's too much trouble to swap from a 305 TBI to a 305 TPI for the little gain.
Accessories will be the same as long as both are serpentine bracket setups, which they should be.
