need help , new 350 wont start

need help , new 350 wont start

the valves are lashed in the correct order , i have put the crank to 0 tdc on #1 piston and the rotor on #1 tower , the car has fuel and spark , and still wont fire? any suggestions ? timing chain marks are fine aswell

Did you get it set to TDC #1 piston on the compression stroke? There are 2 revolutions for every 1 complete valvetrain cycle, compression stroke and exhaust stroke - you must be TDC on #1 cylinder on compression stroke, or else you're 180* off on the firing order. Place finger over #1 plug hole and while engine is rotating over you'll feel air pressure on the compression stroke - then line up TDC with balancer timing marks, then where rotor points should be where the #1 plug wire goes, then follow firing order.

ok i will try that tomorrow , thanks for being very straight forward so i could understand u , if it doesnt? then whats the possibilities?
