Looking at an 87 camaro, its got a 350 out of a 89 pickup. body is real nice, just a small bit of rust on the drivers side quarter panel. the head gasket is blown, engine still runs fine. Got a 700r4. The gauges need replacing and so do the door panels or at least the drivers side. got about 103k on the body and 30k on the motor. Whats this really worth?

Is that the air cleaner poking out through a hole in the hood? I wonder what other neat tricks(read as back yard BS) have been done to the car.

 

It's an aftermarket hood scoop, one of those stupid glue on things. any guess on a price. bodys pretty good little bit of rust on rear quarter and drivers rocker. needs drivers door panel and head gasket is blown. it is a 350 checked the id numbers. motors got 30k. Im guessing about 1500-2000? oh ttops that dont leak

 

I wonder why an engine with only 30K has a blown head gasket? I would stay on the low side price wise. You may get a suprise when you go to replace the head gasket.

 

I should just go buy a head gasket and pull the head there. then make a price lol

 

Anyone able to give me any things i should really look for other than the usual crap?? anything specific to camaro's i should check out?

 

I love ttops, but its funny that every time someone is selling a car with ttops they miraculously don't leak

 

lmao i know. I expect them to leak, but thats not a particularly hard fix. ha.
