Car: 1989 Iroc-Z 350
Do TPI motors need to be warmed up before accelerating?

I have a 350 tpi that when started and slowly revved sometimes dies. Only after letting it warm up does it run fine. Is it just my car or is that just what tuned port injected motors do?
