I have a 91 firebird tbi, it has a cruse control box and is hooked up to the tbi but I have looked everywere for the controls inside the car and they are no were to be found(only so many placces for it to be). As far as I know it on the steering weele or on the blinker type switch? Is it aftermarket fromlast owner and never finished...? All I can say is WTF.
Any help would be great...

Re: cruse control confution
Maybe a previous owner had a turn signal issue and replaced the turn signal lever with one that doesn't have cruise.

The switches were on the turn signal.

There's also a cruise control module in pass kick panel (pass floor board) behind the ECM module.

Maybe get us a pic or 2 of what you're looking at under the hood.

The hi/lo beam switch is under the steering column, just above the brake pedal. You can see a rod that moves when you pull the turn signal lever - that rod runs to the switch and turns it on/off. Sometimes the rod just needs adjusted - loosen the two screws and push it up along the column just a tad - make sure tilt steering wheel is in driving position before hand (not all the way up).
