Throwing away M-55HV where to go now?

OK so just built a new 350 for my autocross car but after the first few races realised the high volume pump was sucking the pan completely dry. The bearings are barely broken in and they have a farely loose .0035 clearance. so do I go M-55 or M-55A 30wt oil, 40wt oil? any other suggestions. Motor made 348hp and 331 tq at the wheels rev limited at 6500 and hits it on a regular basis

I run a standard low volume pump in my engine. It provides 70 psi at 7400 rpm.

Nobody really needs a high volume pump for that exact reason. At high rpms, it will suck the pan dry. A standard pump will provide more than enough oil.

Standard volume but the higher pressure spring in the pump.

I used the yellow standard pressure spring in the M55HV oil pump. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOiHd...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IpJl...eature=channel
