oil leak from idk where???
ok well i got the stealth ram intake manifold n the afr 195 cc heads n ive had this set up for bout 7000 miles already, i used all the gaskets the companies told me to go wit. i got an oil leak and in my opinion a pretty bad one sense all the oil is draining down on the exhaust, n bottom of oil pan . ive been talking to ppl n looking around, they say a common spot would be the cork gasket that came with the intake manifold set that goes on the rear of the engine.. any ideas on if thats a common spot for the leak wit this new set up?? didnt start leaking till just about 1,000 miles when i noticed..
another thing if i were to drive it to the car wash n wash the engine with the pressure water would it crack the block since its cast iron? ive heard no's n yes's anyone tried to n it worked wit out cracking something?
any info would help alot

No, won't crack the block.
Let me guess: smog pump has been hacked off, right?
Look at this bolt hole right here.

It goes RIGHT DIRECTLY INTO the crankcase, specifically, where the fuel pump push rod would be, if there was one. In some blocks you can look in there and see the crank.
If there's not a bolt in it, put a SHORT one there, with a drop of sealer on the threads.

Yes you have that spot. Your block is still a block just like any other block, no matter which intake they bolted on top of it at the factory.
So,, ....,,, umm, .... yeah. When you hacked off the AIR, you created the leak.

Take sofakingdom's advice and check the area where the smog pump bracket was. If that hole is open, plug it. Don't use a bolt longer than 3/4" to avoid interferrence with the crank.
If the leak is at the rear of the intake, running down the back of the motor onto the exhaust, it's probably the rear end seal of the intake manifold. If you used the cork gaskets that came with the intake, that was your mistake. You will need to reseal the intake. Before removing the intake, use a dentist's mirror to look at the oil pressure sender with the engine running to verify that isn't leaking.
This time, after you've carefully cleaned everything, apply a light bead of Permatex Ultra Black to the heads around each coolant passage. Do not apply sealant around intake passages. Use your finger to evenly spread the sealant. Extend these beads to touch the seam between the head and block.
Then Apply a large bead(about 3/8") of Permatex "The Right Stuff" along the end seal at both ends of the block so that the beads touch those made around the coolant passages. Now install the gaskets over the sealant on the heads. then apply a bead of Ultra Black on the manifold side of the gaskets around the coolant passages and spread it evenly with your finger. Now lower the manifold into place.
Apply a light coating of Permatex Teflon Thread Sealant to the precleaned manifold bolt threads and install them. Tighten them according to manufacturer's instructions.
