How to Open Steering Column..?

How to Open Steering Column..?

I'm installing my remote start/alarm on my standard transmission and need to know the best way to remove plastic around the steering column..

Not the best idea to do on a stick shift. It might take off if your careless. I don't think you can remove the plastic. Unless you mean behind the turn signal. But I'm no expert.

I figured it all out. And it's fine, i bought one that's compatible. You can set it to automatic or manual trans through the installer features and when set to manual the operator is required to push the brake, apply e-brake, let go of brake, click the valet switch twice then remove keys from ignition and exit car. The car continues to run until the alarm is armed via remote. The vehicle can now be remote started at any time UNLESS the vehicle is entered(alarm disarmed). So even if a friend drove my car and left it in gear, then i tried to remote start it, it would do nothing.
