poor general performance.

I finally got the car running, but it is very poor...looking for any insight on what may be causing this.

Just replaced the distributor, re-timed the motor with est bypass unplugged, and got it running.

The shorter list would be what hasn't been replaced... plug wires, maf...that's about it.

I got it running and it has poor throttle response in neutral, when I put it in gear it wants to stall out, if I keep my foot on the throttle it runs rough, but will stay running.

I'm glad it's running at this point, but now that the weather is getting better I want more...I guess I like the pain.

I unplugged the maf and it didn't seem to help anything, unplugged the est bypass response got worse.

If anyone has any ideas I'm open...if anyone is in the Lansing area of Michigan and could stop by and needs 4th gen parts or roller I would be willing to trade if it runs well when done.

Let me know...I appreciate any help/ ideas.

Re: poor general performance.

Use a multimeter and test your injectors. Very common problem on these cars.
