Quick spark plug question.

I have a box of AC DELCO R44TS spark plugs. When I checked the application on Autozone's website, it said it was correct. (5.0 305 VIN F) When I look up my year make and model on AC DELCO's website, it brings up R45TS. I guess there is a different heat rating or something...can someone explain this to me? It would be nice if I could use these plugs.

So are you saying that I am good with the plugs I have or do I need the R45's?

Re: Quick spark plug question.

Oh, you're saying I need r-43's.

Well what I'm getting from this is (after searching my year, make, model):

Almost every website (including AC DELCO) shows me R-45's

Autozone says R-44's match my vehicle - which I have an unopened box of

david chambers says I need R-43's.

Can anyone else help me out here?

Re: Quick spark plug question.

Yeah I went ahead and bought the 45's.

Forgot how HORRIBLE it is to change the plugs on the driver side with the Edelbrock headers the car came with. Couldn't find any way around taking them off
