A.I.R system question
Hello everybody, I'm in the process of replacing parts on my bird to make her look better as well as perform better. I'm looking at a completely new exhaust system, but For headers....what do I do with that pesky air system that my car is equipped with...? running a 305 tbi, exhaust collection is on driver side. anybody have any answers?

Depends on your state/county inspection. Some of us can yank all the AIR stuff out without issue. Some of us have to retain it to pass inspection. Check local laws.
If required to keep, then you need headers that are emissions compliant with the AIR tubes. If not, then you can get headers without the tubes, and remove the smog pump and the AIR lines.
