i have a 91 z28 5.0 tpi 700r4 auto trans...im looking for someone in the south jersey area to take a look at my car for me... ive done several minor things to get her back to perfect but with only slight improvements its time to bite the bullet adnd let a pro look at it...any suggestions reply to this post please!!?? im not rich but i have a few bucks to work with so even an estimate would be nice to look at the following issues... 1.)stalling at stops(fires right back up) 2.) after warmed up and ONLY in GEAR and ONLY under heavy acceleration after 55 mph she seems to loose power (lack of fuel? but as far as i can tell good pump?) 3.)speedo doesnt work even after replacing VSS in the trans tailshaft...any ideas are also helpful from people who know their stuff and/or have had similar/same issues!! thank you ...this site has pointed me in the proper direction more than once so lets see what happens now! and i greatly appreciate any help/comments/ideas/input

 

Sounds like you may have some bad fuel injectors. You can test them yourself with a simple multimeter. Set it to ohms (2k).

 

can you send a link or procedures on how to test ? im getting a multimeter this week to test vss,tps,and cts i have procedures and pics how to do all that but have no clue how to test my injectors...a picture would be EXCELLENT im more of a visual person
