I have a 1987 Camaro with a TPI 305. I am having some problems with the lighting in the car, well not just inside but pretty much every light bulb on the car. Headlights, dash lighting, dome light. Occasionally while the car is running at idle or driving all the lights seem to flutter or flicker. Its not in a random order or anything they all do it at the same time together. The only other problem is with the dash lighting. One day all the lights function just like they should and the next they don't. Mainly the blinker lights. They come on when I signal and then a few times later they don't. I just figured its a bad ground or bad altenator or something but I have had the altenator tested twice and its good. the battery is good as well. All the grounds I can see are good too. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

 

I was going to say alternator - mine was doing this and turned out that my alternator was overcharging, but you said you had it tested.

 

I had it tested but I still think its bad, or at least going bad. Can they test good if they are just starting to fail?
