I have a 86 Iroc, In summer of 08 we had a sever storm,lots of lighting. Lost my PC due to storm. Before the storm the Camro ran fine,one week later would hardly run, lots of Black smoke out tail pipes very rough idle. Have changed ECM (remaned) changed water coolant sener(the one that sends info. to ECM) changed MAF still wouln't run, Im thinking maybe the PROM ???? After trying to start it i look at the spark plugs they are total flooded, whats giving that command, cold start????????????

 

Tried O2? O2 helps computer determine how much gas to squirt. Usually bad rich cars that don't pass sniffer test has bad O2 sensor.

 

Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try,what do I have to loose$$$$ maybe. It ran great before the lighting storm didn't start it for a week after,surprise,surprise.
