fuel pressure regulator

how hard is it to add an adjustable regulator/is it worth it to intsall one on a stock 305 tpi?

the best and easiest one to use IMO is the holley. No wrenches to fool with, it has a hand turnable dial.

Not hard to install. You have to take the upper runner bolts off and just loosen a few of the bottom runner bolts on each side. To remove the fuel pressure regulator you will need a special torx bit, called a security torx bit. I am not sure of the size. Just remember to relieve all of your fuel pressure first via the shrader valve. All of your gaskets for the throttle body and runners can be reused, just clean them up. You don't even have to completely remove the throttle body either , just take out the 4 bolts on the front and move the whole unit to the side. Later
