Air Intake Snorkel TPI 87 305
1987 Camaro Iroc z 305 TPI
What is the name of the sensor on the air intake snorkel?(Drivers side)
What does it do?
Also does anyone know if there are two rubber gaskets for the Mass Air Flow sensor one for each end, I only have one, my mechanic said i'm missing the first one from the snorkel to the MAF? this part connects to both ends of the mass air flow sensor coming from the air snorkel to the MAF should be one, then from the MAF to the throttle body should be the second?

Although, a previous owner may have wired the MAT sensor wires to the IAT sensor on the intake. This is known as a relocated MAT.
IAT is intake air temperature, MAT is manifold air temperature.
