Car: 1987 Camaro Iroc-Z Z28

Engine: 305 FI

Transmission: 5Speed

Axle/Gears: Stock

87 IRoc Camaro no start

hi i have a iroc camaro 305 5speed

i just rebuild the top end and basicly i tried to start it and my freind said that he saw flames coming out the intake (throttle body) and i got out and opened it and it was smoking

any idea what happened?
where i can look first?

You have the distributor 180 degrees off.
