Scratched Roller Cam - Usable?

Hey guys,

I was considering swapping back to a Cam that I took out of my motor around a year ago. I was just giving it a look over when I spotted a scratch on one of the lobes

Now I can't say that I noticed this before. It could have come out of the block like that, maybe I scratched it taking it out or maybe just somehow in storage its got damaged.

The deepest part of the scratch just catches your nail - the shallow end doesn't. This would be on the Upwards Ramp.

I just want some opinions of if its scrap or could it be reused? Its a roller cam and the roller would be going in that direction so I can't see that it would cause too much of a problem but... I'm no expert.

I've enhanced the pics the best I can...

With roller tappets, I don't see a problem.

Id probably smooth it out with some polish a little bit and rock on with it. Emory cloth it just to make sure the edges wont catch and scratch.

If it bothers you, see about a regrind. I had to after the link bar let go and allowed the lifters to rotate. Lunati took care of me since it was their part that failed.
