So i have a 1991 with the 305 tbi. When the car is idleing and you WOT the engine immediatly bogs down(read: does not gain rpms at all) and will stay bogged for about 2-5 seconds and then it will start gaining rpm's. If i bring the engine to 1.5k-2k rpms and then WOT it shoots up just fine. At first i thought fuel pump/filter. The pump seems to be working fine, and i replaced the filter. When that didnt fix it i changed the spark plugs and wires, still no fix. Anything you guys can think of will help me greatly, 2moro im getting a code reader to see what code its throwing. A friend suggested possible TPS/ MAP sensor issues. Your thoughts?

Did you change rotor and dist cap also? Plugs and wires no good without new cap and rotor.
