86 iroc won't start
86 iroc won't start
Hi everybody, I'm looking for help with this problem child. The car is a 86 iroc automatic, 305 tpi, 67k miles all stock, no mods. The car was running ok but was due for a tune up. I started with plugs, wires, dist. cap, rotor, and icm. I tried to start it and it would turn over but not start. I double checked connections and firing order. That was all fine but still no start. I put a gauge on the fuel rail and turned it over, the psi went up to 40. Spark seems to be ok. When I tried to get the trouble codes by jumping the aldl and turn on the key the fan comes on and the relays by the brake booster make odd sounds?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The clicking relays and fan on are normal in diagnostic mode. It ran before you did the tune up. Check your work. I think you're missing something. For one thing, check the four pin connector to the ICM. Are the pins of the ICM bent? About 1/2 of the cheap aftermarket replacement ICMs I've seen have had one or more bent pins.
