Loose Throttle Cable, adjustment?
My TPS is spot on at .55v and I'm getting 5.01 v between the top and bottom wires at the TPS. So I did a WOT datalog yesterday and see I'm only getting 3.69v with the peddle fully depressed. If I put all my weight on the gas peddle I will get 4.69v..So I found the issue the throttle cable is loose and sloppy in the idle position. I dont see an adjustment? I need to take the play out of the cable. Does the cable need to be cut shorter or is there an adjustment??? Thanks

Re: Loose Throttle Cable, adjustment?
I was just looking at the throttle cable. I dont think there is an adjustment. I looks like I need to cut the cable approx 1/2" shorter and crimp a new end one the cable. Anyone ever do this?

did that last week. you have to be really careful on how you cut it. i cut it a hair too short and the idle was around 1,100rpm. had to start trimming the foot end clip to bring the cable right. been good for this week so far and pedal doesn't feel so dead.
