car runs awkward wit A/C on?
whenever i turn the a/c on in my 84 z the rpm's drop every 5 seconds and their is a high pitched squeak from under the hood. as soon as the a/c is off the car runs fine again. the rpm's drop when the heater is on too but no squeak. any help would be much appriciated.

rpm dropping a little is normal but it sounds like the bearings on ur compressor are bad you could try and find the bearings if possible or just replace the whole compressor.
