Taylor 61006 Street Thunder plugs

Anyone run these? I purchased them from Summit since I was putting headers on and needed 90deg boots. They are supposedly application specific to cover a 1991 camaro 305 but when I took them out of the box they are on average almost twice as long as the stock wires! Guess I have to find something else. They seemed to be a nice stock looking (stealthy) wire.

the 51006 wires are so long because they are made to route under the headers.

my stock ones, the longest one is 35", with the Taylors it is 48". They pretty much route down from the dist., under the headers, and can make it to prob. 4-6" beyond the radiator.

Re: Taylor 61006 Street Thunder plugs

I purchased MSD Street Fire kit and they are perfect, same length as stock and it even comes with the coil to distributor wire. Not sure why the Taylor ones were so wrong.

Dennis...

Did you get the MSD 5570 with the 90 degree boots for your headers? Do they route below or above the headers??

Thanks.

5570's. they are pretty much the exact same length as stock. I routed them under the Hooker headers similar to the factory wires under my stock manifolds.
